Janet Ray

Janet has a long history of breaking down barriers to education and advocating for families and young people facing disadvantage.

She leads the Family Learning Program with warmth, enthusiasm, and a joyful spirit that inspires staff, participants, and volunteers alike. Janet is a keen collaborator who networks widely to ensure children from the public housing estate have equal educational opportunities and to foster creative community outcomes.
Her passions include cheese-making, soap-making, cooking, preserving, mending, and all things that support a slower, healthier earth. Most of all, she loves sharing these with her beautiful family.
